Job Overview
At TE we strongly believe that data and analytics are strategic drivers for future success. We are investing significantly in building our advanced analytics team. The Data Analytics & Insights (DIA) team at TE reports to the Chief Data and AI Officer (CDAO) and is responsible for driving organic growth by leveraging big data and advanced analytics, working closely with the SVP of Corporate Strategy, and regularly with the company's C-Suite.
We are on an exciting journey to scale and mature our analytics insights team and we are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence (BI) to join us! In this role, you will bring your strategic leadership to define and implement our Enterprise BI vision and strategy, inspire the analytics and business teams to the new vision, while aligning the strategy to our business needs and priorities. You will apply your people leadership skills to recruit, develop, and retain top BI talent while fostering a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous learning. You will bring your storytelling skills to solve diverse business problems through delivering clear, compelling, and intuitive BI products that inform and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities
- Define an Enterprise BI vision that furthers our analytics maturity journey and inspires the teams. Implement a strategic BI capability roadmap that informs the next few years' investments in BI technologies, tools, and talent.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a global BI team. Define and implement actionable career development paths for different BI roles at different seniority levels.
- Cultivate a work culture that inspires curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning in talent. Motivates teams to challenge status-quo and setting high standards for work quality while balancing speed to market.
- Develop strong relationships with IT and business teams and be the trusted advisor for all topics related to BI. Be seen as the BI subject-matter-expert (SME) for the company.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively identify emerging BI technologies and tools to drive higher levels of self-service analytics and to launch better and faster BI products.
- Build a strong community of BI followers and devise an engaging platform for employees to connect, learn, and knowledge-share on BI topics.
What your background should look like:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics or related field
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in BI platforms, technologies, tools and building BI solutions.
- 5+ years of leading teams and developing analytics (data and visualization) talent with experience in managing resources in global setting
- Experience in developing and implementing Enterprise BI capability roadmaps with tools, process, and people consideration
- Strong working experience and understanding in BI tools and technologies - Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, and newer AI-powered BI tools such as MS Copliot+Power BI, Amazon Q+ Quicksight, Thoughtspot, Qlik, SalesForce Einstein etc)
- Strong experience in analysing large amount of data and delivering actionable insights to drive business outcomes
- Exceptional ability to communicate data-driven insights into clear and compelling storytelling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with an innate ability to communicate succinctly to executives and working level technical and business teams.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced and highly matrixed organization with skills to influence up and down effectively.
We Value
- MBA or master's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics or related field.
- UX/UI experience - in hiring and managing resources and conducting design-thinking workshops during product discovery.
- Working experience in commercial and/or supply chain analytics
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS
- Experience and knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI) and knowing when to apply AI to solve business problems.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $154,500-231,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
