Job Overview

Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team.

What your background should look like:

Job Details/Responsibilities
• Support financial activities related to manufacturing processes (financial analysis and reporting, month-end close activities including journal entries if required, inventory reporting among others)
• Serve as financial supporter to the plants under his/her charge specially for teams involved in the manufacturing process (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Planning, Controlling)
• Prepare scorecards on a daily basis for the plants under his/her charge
• Prepare manufacturing variances reports based on actual costs vs standard costs and its respective analysis
• Prepare inventory analysis per requests received as well as inventory reconciliations that match the GL balances
• Ability to analyze the changes in the cost coming from changes on bill of materials, routers and rates
• Setting standard costs for different materials produced by the company as well as reviews required previous and post cost released
• Assist in annual standard cost setting process for plants under his/her charge and ability to provide the analysis of cost change, including to share data to leadership team
• Collaborate with internal and external audit requirements per requests received
• Collaborate with physical inventory audit when required
• Adhere to internal controls and SOX compliance
• Collaborate with additional reports, analysis and activities requested by the plant related to this position

• Ability to work independently as well as time management skills to meet deadlines and deliverables

• Ability to handle sensitive information
Qualifications and Experience requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Ability to speak in English fluently
• Proficiency in Excel and other Office apps
• Experience working with ERP systems, SAP is preferred
• Proven work experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing companies, medical devices industry is preferred
