Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Distributor Market Manager here in the AUTO Business Unit.
Our Distributor Market Managers are responsible for growing TE Sales and Market Share through primary Channel Partners in China Area.
This is accomplished through smart utilization and prioritization of TE Channel, TE Business Unit, and distributor resources.
This position is ideally located in the Shanghai area.

Key Tasks:
• Sells the company's products or services in the field via our distributor branch network.
• Calls on distributors and prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices.

• Achieve regional/country/territory/branch POS target
• Distributor Single Point of contact for all TE POS - Geographically based
• Grow TE Connectivity market share
• Manage branch execution of distributor corporate plans
o Prioritize based on market relevance
o Align priorities and local business plans with the distributor Sales Managers and General Managers
o Manage all market business reviews, driving accountability
• Competitive Analysis
o Market TAM/DTAMs.
o Competitor's go to market strategies and resources
• Conduct regular quote follow up with Distributors/End customers
• Manage distributor business processes (Coop, POS reporting/matching, etc)
• Coach and develop the distributor business resources to be more self sufficient
• Coordinate branch training plans across TE products portfolio
• Local contact for all TE BU sales teams to ensure TE plans/programs are consistently executed
• Administer Design Registration Programs
• Understand Distributors Strategy for better enablement and alignment with key TE initiatives
Key Performance Measurements:
• POS growth across all TE products in assigned geography
• Market share growth
• Distributor opportunity funnel and win-to-pipeline conversion rate

Competencies/Skills:
• Must drive strong professional relationships/collaboration with multiple functions: Business Unit Management, Product Management, Marketing, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
• Proven track record of forging excellent relationships
• Strong work ethic - willingness to roll-up sleeves and do the work as part of a team
• Strong organizational and planning skills
Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:
Required:
• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering
• 5~10 years' experience in automotive sales, at least 3 years' experience in distribution management.
• Extensive knowledge of the electronics components/systems industry
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, with the ability to deliver formal presentations to senior staff
• Ability to negotiate with executives at all levels of an organization is a must
• Self-directed individual who can analyze market needs and deliver strong results through sales process
• English and Local Language proficiency
