Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Stamping Core Process Technology team with members from all Business Units
  • Develop and create core process technology vision and strategy
  • Collaborate with sites to define cost and waste savings potential associated with high impact ready to deploy (RTD) best practices, "opportunity to TE best." and drive implementation and adoption.
  • Monitor progress and drive focus to close the gap to "opportunity to TE best", providing support as needed to accelerate RTD adoption and set and align on key performance indicators that drive enterprise wide value creation
  • Work with the Innovation and technology teams to fully leverage new and emerging technologies in Stamping automation and improve competency within the plants across the enterprise Identify and drive best practices adoption across the business.
  • Develop and identify core process technology standards through direct engagement with sites and BU COE members, identify and prioritize Stamping automation innovation opportunities, including driving understanding and development of business cases.
  • Lead development of Stamping automation CoE strategic technology roadmap that enables growth and improve capital efficiency, flexibility and floorspace utilization.
  • Recommend technologies should be sourced internally or externally based on technical expertise and identification of value creation opportunities that are simple, cost effective and technologically sound.

Candidate Profile

  • Technology expert in Stamping with proven track record of influencing adoption across a matrixed environment.
  • A demonstrated track record of delivering transformational improvement through technology.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability; energetic, proactive. Leading by example
  • Ability to influence diverse Business Unit requirements and work across organizational boundaries to deliver innovative solutions with broad applications.
  • Working knowledge of engineering economics, statistics, basic industrial engineering and operational research and experience in application in manufacturing
  • Excellent business acumen in an innovative environment with experience in analyzing commercial value of technical project capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate vision and inspire people at every level to deliver and execute the strategy of the Stamping CoE. Ability to explain complex topics concisely.
  • Experienced in matrix management with a track record of being able to manage by influence and coordinate cross business unit activities.
  • Practical knowledge of Stamping automation
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support BU needs globally.
  • Strong detail oriented and goal focused project management competencies are essential.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering with 10 or more years of experience required. Master's degree or Professional Engineer Certification is preferred.
  • Proficient English language capability is required.
