Job Overview

Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan for Industrial business unit's Japan/Korea region, focusing on country business goals, customer needs, aligning with industrial Global Marketing and Sales strategy to grow above market in focused applications.
  • Manage, support, and coordinate events, trade shows, customer Tech Day and other customer events, including giveaways at trade shows, with measurable KPIs.
  • Create marketing assets in local languages to communicate the value proposition through both print and digital, media (for example, brochures, catalogues, videos, advertisements, presentations, etc.), manage new industrial product launch and product promotion in Japan in cooperation with Industrial Global Marketing. Measure the impact of marketing campaigns leveraging all marketing channels - advertising, public relations, digital / social media, collateral and events.
  • Plan and execute external communications for key press conference, media interviews and press releases. Maintain an enterprise mindset, working closely with BU and Center Communications teams to ensure alignment in campaign messaging.
  • Supporting the purchase requests and purchase orders for vendors and promotions, tracking and reporting expenses, and help with budget planning.

Internal Communications

  • Plan and execute internal communications based on the industrial business priority. Develop and manage internal communications programs including newsletter, myTE articles, town halls, employee videos, etc. in partnership with the industrial Communications Manager.

What your background should look like:

Skills & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing communications, journalism, public relations or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years marketing experience including a demonstrated ability to produce effective communications and campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of current marketing promotional tactics such as advertising, digital media, PR, partnership promotion, etc.
  • Experience managing large events and trade shows.
  • Ability to select and manage third party vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results driven.
  • Knowledge of analytical and reporting tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, SFDC preferred.
  • Industrial B2B product and market knowledge.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English Is required.
