Job Description:

OVERVIEW OF THE TEAM

TDAM offers a full range of multi-asset class solutions with in-house teams covering fixed income, Canadian equities, U.S. equities, international equities, real estate, mortgages and infrastructure. JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be a part of a finance team in the Real Estate Asset Management Group responsible for the following activities in real estate investments:

  • Maintaining the asset management accounting records
  • Monthly property results upload and review data from third party managers
  • Monthly/quarterly/annual financial and other reports for quarterly reporting
  • Audit and financial statement preparation
  • Tax return review
  • Participate in the growth of the teams' responsibilities as investments are onboarded
  • Participate in platform efficiency improvements with the recent transition to Yardi accounting platform

What You Bring to TD

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting, audit, finance, taxation
  • CPA
  • Post-secondary degree
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel. Exposure to an accounting software and report writing
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Organized, detail- and purposeful, and meticulous in their work
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment under tight deadlines
