Job Description:
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care.
Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:

Channel Transformation:
The Channel Transformation Team connects TD's owned channels to elevate the customer experience. We strategically support the channels platform transformations and programs from planning to execution, to elevate brand awareness, build engagement and drive sales. Our priority is to work closely with Real Estate and Branch Banking to transform our retail properties with a focus on digital and reducing our print and support the TD brand in two-way conversations that allow customers to engage, interact and share.
Corporate Sponsorship
The Corporate Sponsorship Team manages the corporate sponsorship portfolio for TD including key relationships in Sports and Music. We leverage sponsorship to engage with consumers through relevant passion points to drive brand and business objectives in ways that go beyond traditional advertising.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The intern will support Channel Transformation and Corporate Sponsorship team in Marketing where they will be a resource in contributing to the development and execution of marketing plans and programs.
How You Will Contribute:
- Act as a resource for the team by working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision; establish priorities, and use your strong communication and analytical, and problem-solving skills to add value to each project.
- Build and manage strong relationships with Agencies, Business Units, Marketing Partners, and other internal teams to deliver effective marketing programs.
- Assist with defining opportunities for continued enhancements to business processes and make recommendations within the team.
Job Description/Accountabilities
- Collaborate and lead specific workstreams on new digital signage CMS Portal/Template project.
- Trains and supports TD staff on how to build localized digital signage content.
- Reviews, approves and deploys branch generated digital signage content following TD approval workflow process.
- Foundational support for select sponsorship properties (itinerary planning and key bookings).
- Marketing brief, content and reporting support for key seasonal sponsorship campaigns
- Communicates with employees on queries and content issues.
- Collaborate with multiple agencies and vendors to foster collaboration, quick responses, efficiency, and financial discipline.
- Ability to develop support material and PowerPoint presentations to help sell strategies and creative within the bank to internal teams to gain alignment.
- Ensure that all initiatives and communications comply with legal and branding regulations.
- Has a positive attitude and inspires others to the same.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, specifically in the field of Marketing; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
- Problem solving skills and strong analytical capabilities to be able to evaluate research results, statistical information and leverage facts to support POVs and recommendations.
- A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting
- Proven strength managing relationships
- Must be an imaginative, enthusiastic marketer with a commitment to delivering measurable results and ability to manage projects to successful completion
- Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Ability to develop support material and PowerPoint presentations to help sell strategies and creative within the bank to internal teams to gain alignment.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
