Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. TDAM's Retail Distribution team offers a wide range of mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives and managed portfolios through a national sales and service team of over 100 people. The sales team is responsible for consultative sales of all our product offerings to both external advisors and well as colleagues in TD Wealth: Financial Planning (FP), Private Investment Advice (PIA), and Private Investment Council (PIC), and TD Canada Trust (TDCT).

As a key member of Retail Distribution's National Office, the Associate, Advisor Experience & Employee Engagement will be responsible for sales operations, leading innovative ways to deliver enhanced advisor experiences, and enhancing employee engagement by supporting our sales channels with the tools and resources they need to achieve success. Reporting to the Manager, Advisor Experience & Employee Engagement, the successful candidate will act as a key contact for Cooperative Marketing and Sales Practices Policy & Procedure support and oversight. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Business as usual (BAU) compliance reviews as well as ad hoc requests that may involve interpreting data from Salesforce and other databases
  • Managing internal content and communications and communicating updates to the sales team as required
  • Building relationships and proactively identifying and seeking out opportunities for improved support for sales channels

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of National instrument 81-105 Mutual Fund Sales Practices Required
  • Minimum of 1 year of asset management experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of investment industry experience and university education, preferably in business, economics, or communications
  • Highly collaborative with strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement principles and ability to apply them to strengthening employee and/or client experiences

Hybrid = 3 days a week in the office with expectation of going to 4 days in March 2025
