As a Entitlements Director working for Taylor Morrison you will manage land development and regulatory agency activities to meet division financial objectives. Will be responsible to meet or exceed expectations for on-time model opening dates (compared to "proposed" opening dates). Will work collaboratively with all functional peers as a member of the Division's Leadership Team and will be responsible to recruit, train, manage, motivate and support Land team personnel.
We trust that as a Entitlements Director you will: (responsibilities)
- Oversee all forward planning and land development activities for the division
- Complete all due diligence activities for new acquisitions
- Responsible for preparing all division investment committee applications for new acquisitions per company procedure
- Ensure that development activities are successfully completed on schedule and within budget by competent vendors
- Advise Vice President of Land and Division President of any potential problems or issues and offer suggestions for resolution
- Establish network of colleagues and brokers able to bring acquisition/divestiture opportunities as needed
- Keep abreast of local market land transactions
- You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:
- Concise writing skills are required for presentations to land investment committee
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or meet the minimum requirement for number of years of direct experience
- Five years' experience in land entitlements/development (with a production builder preferred)
- Established track record for managing multiple direct reports
- Demonstrated success in the home building industry, preferred
- Computer literacy
- Ability to anticipate possible obstacles and propose favorable solutions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to implementation and execution
- Public speaking/presentation skills necessary for entitlements processing
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay Range: $126,520-$183,458
Will have responsibilities such as:
- Interviewing, selecting, and training employees;
- Setting rates of pay and hours of work;
- Appraising productivity; handling employee grievances or complaints, or disciplining employees;
- Determining work techniques;
- Planning the work;
- Apportioning work among employees;
- Determining the types of equipment to be used in performing work, or materials needed;

Physical Demands:
