About the Job:
As the Supply Chain Manager (APAC), you will play a pivotal role in the Taco Bell International Supply Chain Team, contributing to a dynamic environment that thrives on collaboration, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm. This strategic position involves taking ownership of the supplier commercial relationship, encompassing price negotiation, contract performance, risk management, and corporate governance. You will be responsible for crafting and executing category strategies that align with the short and long-term goals of the APAC market, navigating a complex matrix of internal and external relationships. The Supply Chain Manager (APAC) will report to General Manager (APAC) and join an outstanding team and build upon the brand’s impressive track record of success.
The Day-to-Day:
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:
- Co-define regional supply chain strategy, in collaboration with Category Leads
- Lead supply chain business intelligence including commodity trends, oversight of pricing and volume data by market
- Provide insight on regulatory landscape and import/export restrictions in APAC
Franchisee Support
- Collaborate with franchisee supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted supply
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Food Innovation and Quality Assurance) to support new product launches in market
- Share tools and best practices across markets
COGS optimization
- Identify and drive food, beverage and packaging cost improvement opportunities to deliver store-level margin improvement
- Collaborate with Category leads to mitigate inflation
New market entry
- Support new market entry, leading Supply Chain assessments, strategy for short term and long term profitability, and market launch
Is This You?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the foodservice, retail, or franchise sector
- Strong knowledge of global supply chain processes, inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
- Experience with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Commercial mindset with demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts and relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
