About the Job:
This role oversees the strategy, integration, and management of customer data across teams and platforms, ensuring data integrity and meeting Taco Bell’s analytics, customer segmentation, and activation needs through effective data strategies and vendor relationships. It involves cross-functional collaboration to identify data needs, ensure integration, and maintain a technology roadmap that supports business goals, playing a critical part in utilizing customer data and tools to drive business success.
The Day-to-Day:
- Technology Integration: Collaborate with Tech teams, Yum teams and vendor teams to ensure the effective execution of development, QA, and product implementation for data and digital technologies. Address any integration challenges proactively with a strong understanding of AI/ML and data engineering procesess.
- Vendor and Procurement Management: Oversee all vendor relationships, ensuring that technology partners deliver on their commitments. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) to communicate the status of the Customer Data roadmap and its utilization across the organization. With special emphasis in Customer Data Platforms and our MarTech stack as we further scale and centralize use cases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Digital, Marketing, and other teams to define business needs and specific use cases for technology and data solutions. Prioritize requirements on behalf of multiple teams to maximize the business impact of the MarTech roadmap.
- Roadmap Development: Lead the development and management of tools/platforms and data strategies to enhance more personalized and optimized user experiences across omnichannel marketing, performance media, and CRM. Responsible to drive the roadmap and ensure implementation of the deliverables expected as outcomes of that strategic roadmap, especially in service of knowing more about our customers and AI implementation.
- Data Governance and Integrity: Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of customer data across all platforms. Implement checks and measures to uphold high data quality standards.
- Performance Measurement: Define success metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of customer data initiatives and marketing strategies. Regularly report on performance and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Is This You?
- Bachelors degree in Digital Marketing or related field OR equivalent years of experience, MBA a plus.
- 8+ years of experience years leading and executing a strategic roadmap of capabilities and related initiatives in areas of responsibility
- Proficiency with Visio, JRA/Confluence and agile methodologies/scrum ceremonies preferred
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and develop fact-based recommendations to solve problems and influence vendor relationships (customer journey mapping, design thinking, business process design, A/B testing)
- Data-obsessed, but creatively-driven marketer
- Able to clearly articulate vision, strategy, and connect that to tactical execution
- Able to partner and collaborate across teams, and influence peers to drive action
- Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder communications and involvement as well as run team meetings

Salary Range: $134,500 - $160,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
