About the Job:

The Production Analyst II - Ecommerce is responsible for playing a vital role in one of the fastest growing areas of business for Taco Bell. They provide valuable insight in how we engage with our customers and build brand retention within major elements of Taco Bell’s digital and Ecommerce strategies. They have access to cutting edge tools and use observability platforms to perform their duties while still being at the forefront of technical involvement. This role will report to the Manager – Production Engineering as part of a larger overall innovative team.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert within the Ecommerce space at Taco Bell.
  • Understand and monitor the Ecommerce services for performance, availability, and accuracy of transactional data.
  • Communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on issues, upcoming changes, and updates to system health.
  • Perform final validation tests on various mobile and web-based applications, reporting on, and offering feedback on areas for improvement.
  • Build expertise in serverless infrastructure and initiatives while also learning aspects of modern SRE practices and terms, such as SLIs, SLOs, Observability, toil, and incident response with blameless postmortems.
  • Work with and adopt Agile practices while participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or other related fields of study; OR any combination of relevant equivalent experience, education, and training
  • At least 2+ years of experience working on a team supporting software, systems, infrastructure, or support of large-scale applications/services on cloud platforms like AWS, preferably within a SaaS Environment.
  • Previous experience working with customer-facing issues, modern observability and monitoring tools, and generating regular reports.
  • A desire to become proficient with one or more programming languages, and to learn and do more in your career.
  • Follows comprehensive and systematic problem-solving methods.

Salary Range: ­­$76,000 - $108,240 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
