Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our service team as a Salesforce Product Owner!

About the role

As a product owner, you will be a key member of the CRM Salesforce agile team working to deliver contact center capabilities that provide efficiencies for our customer service reps and support a simple and seamless customer experience. You will represent the voice of our customer service teams across multiple lines of business and work closely with the product manager to achieve defined outcomes and key results.

What you'll do in this role

  • Represent the product vision and business problems to be solved to the delivery team
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, convert business problem statements to user stories
  • Own the 90-day plan and updates regularly
  • Prioritize backlog based on business value and agreement from stakeholders; evaluate each feature to ensure it aligns to product outcomes and key results
  • Communicate with and advise business partners on progress of solution delivery
  • Set the acceptance criteria for each user story/feature, refine user stories, and accept completed stories
  • Work to remove impediments, participate in regular scrum team meetings and stand-ups, provide guidance and clarification on user stories
  • Possess and provide authoritative knowledge on system being developed and communicate impact of change
  • Ensure quality of features through facilitation and/or completion of user acceptance testing throughout the development process
  • Work closely with CRM success manager on change management activities and production support process and prioritization
  • Support adoption of the CRM system and works to identify system improvements

Compensation

Salary Range: $97,400. - $ 162,400 plus eligibility for annual bonus program

Requirements

Your experience and skills

  • 5+ years' experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst representing business needs and priorities to a technology team
  • 2+ years' experience working as a member of an agile team on product execution
  • 2+ years' experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Financial Services Cloud
  • 2+ years' experience working Salesforce Service Cloud Voice with Amazon Connect
  • Ability to take abstract and ambiguous information and organize into meaningful facts for business partners to understand
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and business teams and executive management
  • Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and, team members
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment Can foster a collaborative working environment and builds trust with others
