Operating within the Global Corporate Communications team, the Specialist, Global Internal Communications will be responsible for working closely with corporate functions and business areas to deliver impactful internal communications to help inform and engage employees around the world. The Specialist also plays a pivotal role in supporting the execution of global business and cultural initiatives and collaborates closely with colleagues across Corporate Communications, Brand PR, and other functions to plan, develop and execute communications.

This role can be located in New York or Chicago.
The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $70k- 85k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
Role Responsibilities
- Supports creation of engaging materials that align employee communications with business goals.
- Supports leader communication of organizational changes and transformation initiatives.
- Leads editorial planning and content creation for global employee channels for the Internal Communications team.
- Stays informed on communications efforts within the team to identify opportunities for awareness and engagement.
- Supports various communications projects and initiatives with a broad, company-wide perspective.
- Responsible for compiling and editing weekly global newsletter and ensuring global intranet site is updated with latest company news.
- Ensures communications team activities calendar is up to date and helps plan out communications for the year, taking into consideration the key themes and messages that are part of our strategic communications plan.
- Compiles quarterly internal communications report, using data from our internal channels to inform analysis and recommended actions for improvement.
- Provides weekly update on channels highlighting open rates and click throughs for various communications.
- Minimum two years of proven, hands-on employee communications experience in a corporate or agency setting.
- Excellent writer and detail oriented.
- Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders and navigating a matrixed organization.
- Experienced in supporting leader, organizational change, and employee engagement communications.
- Adaptable, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Global viewpoint with ability to think cross-culturally.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also ready to roll up their sleeves to contribute collaboratively to our team's broader efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Office-based role, three days in the office, with flexibility to work remotely two days. This is a global role and often requires work to accommodate global time zones.
- Ability to travel, including global travel.
