Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Senior Procurement Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on cost savings, strategic procurement, and supplier management. This role requires expertise in driving savings initiatives, cost modeling, raw material strategy, and supplier performance management. The Senior Procurement Analyst will be responsible for achieving over $1 million in cost savings annually and enhancing procurement operations through data-driven insights and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Cost Savings Initiatives:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that achieve cost savings exceeding $1 million annually.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, execute, and track cost-saving opportunities aligned with overall business objectives.
- Analyze procurement spending data and market trends to drive savings across categories.
- Optimize the ordering process to ensure maximum efficiency and drive spend to preferred suppliers.
Raw Material Strategy:
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to develop effective procurement strategies for raw materials, including risk mitigation and hedging strategies.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and negotiate optimal contracts to secure favorable terms for raw material purchases.
- Coordinate with production and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Should Cost Modeling:
- Develop and maintain cost models to accurately estimate the cost of goods and services.
- Utilize cost models to evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate pricing, and drive cost reductions.
- Continuously enhance cost models based on supplier feedback and market intelligence.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Create and maintain procurement reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track savings, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on procurement activities and performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Manage supplier performance by conducting regular evaluations, audits, and reviews of service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve issues related to service, technology, pricing, and quality, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date supplier records and ensure transactions are compliant with company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings, with experience in should cost modeling and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$72,595.34 to $96,793.79
