General Purpose
The Sr Procurement Specialist does the analysis and drives cost saving initiatives for CCSWB, as well as looking at financial impacts, pricing, contracts and spend. They are heavily engaged with supplier management and improve flow of materials through the system.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, development and implementation of cost savings initiatives
- Implement and continuously improve core processes
- Conduct timely financial and pricing updates
- Manage contract life-cycle and spend compliance
- Stakeholder and supplier management including potential relevant metrics
- Implement and continuously improve the flow and consumption of materials and service
- Lead sourcing events and development of category strategy for small categories of spend

Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent procurement or supply chain work experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- 2-5 years of analytic, procurement or supply chain experience
- Analytical Tools experience
- Analytic skills and learning agility
- Change Management and influencing skills
- SAP functional skills (SAP Ariba is a plus)
- Strong Microsoft Office
- Attention to details and 99.9% accuracy in pricing updates
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer services focus with great follow-up skills
- Knowledge of data analysis methodologies
- Collaborative and a team player
- Ability to work independently with solid organizational skills
- Ability to efficiently multi-task
- 20% travel between the US and Mexico
