Job Description

We now need a results-driven Communications Program Manager to join our Customer Experience team.

Reporting to the Program Manager, Special Programs & Strategic Content, the Communications Program Manager will design strategies and oversee the day-to-day production of family and scholar communications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work in collaboration with Network Teams to develop and execute communications strategies to support the family and scholar experience.
  • Lead large-scale family and scholar communication plans end-to-end, while optimizing the family communications experience by advising on messaging, audience segment, timing, and channel.
  • Develop and manage a School Communications Playbook that will be provided as a family communications resource to our school teams throughout the year.
  • Handle one-off incident and safety communications effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead and support a team of two to draft best-in-class content for a variety of channels (emails, text, robocall scripts, newsletters, presentations, talking points) and initiatives.
  • Analyze performance metrics and make strategic recommendations on best practices to improve.

A successful applicant will have the following experiences and education:

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum 8 years experience developing and executing communications at large organizations;
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field from an accredited college or university;
  • Experience successfully managing a team.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, including experience fact-checking and proofreading;
  • Quick learner with an ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment;
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to establish protocols and processes, and and execute concurrent, deadline-driven projects from beginning to end;
  • Analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights;
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, as necessary;
  • A commitment to improving public education and ensuring all students have access to a high quality education.

Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
