As the Lead Analyst, Finance you will have the opportunity to partner with the Operations team within our Stryker Sustainable Solutions Group to provide financial analysis with regard to the business and operational efficiencies. You will have a lot of freedom and will be encouraged to think outside the box to develop process improvements. You will have the ability to make a direct impact on our business.

*The candidate will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance to our Phoenix, AZ location. You will need to be in the office 2-3 days a week but will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.

Accounting & Finance professionals. A background in accounting & finance with a strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX & financial compliance, coupled with the ability and desire to apply the concepts to "hands-on" operational processes.

What you will do

  • Prepares analysis as needed so that Finance leadership can provide financial guidance to Executive and Senior Manager level employees with regards to financial control of company assets and spending. Compiles reports, graphs, and charts to effectively communicate analyses.
  • Performs daily Accounting and Financial tasks and entries; account reconciliations; Asset tracking; and trending analysis.
  • Assist where needed to help build infrastructure within Finance and other departments to prepare the division for scalable growth without incremental spending.
  • Ensures processes are created to perform repeatable results and to provide explanations for future use in accordance with business needs.
  • Assists with implementation of projects to achieve business financial outcomes.
  • Assists with improving the quality of financial information through ever improving timeliness, accuracy, clarity, and transparency.
  • Prepares and assists in preparation of monthly financial projections, including consolidation, Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and various monthly reports and presentations.
  • Direct involvement in annual budget process including preparation, analysis, consolidation and distribution.
  • Prepare monthly analyses for department leaders with regard to financial control of company assets and spending.
  • Maintains records in compliance and SOX narratives

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related curriculum required
  • 4+ years of Accounting, Finance or FP&A experience required
  • Aptitude for accounting software systems
  • Mastery of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HFM a plus
