What you will do:
- Independently conduct primary and secondary market research, drawing out insights and forming conclusions on attractiveness of new markets.
- Communicate market insights and recommendations to senior leaders using a combination of data and storytelling.
- Play significant role in annual Strategic Planning process.
- Manage relationships with market research vendors, making recommendations to others on methodology and vendor selection, as well as identifying gaps in vendor capabilities and forming new vendor relationships where necessary.
- Lead adjacent market assessments, including delivering market landscapes, segmentation, competitor overviews and technology assessments.
- Develop and maintain robust market models for existing and potential new market spaces using market data and logical assumptions.
- Develop mastery of Customer-Centered Design process and independently facilitate cross-functional workshops that build alignment around new market strategies.
- Lead regular Market Insights trainings to build competency across Division on topics including market research techniques and market trends.
- May coach or supervise early-career Strategy and Market Insights professionals.
What you need:
- B.B.A or B.S. required.
- 6+ years of market research, strategy, or product design experience
- Familiarity and experience with qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies including in-depth interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
- MBA or Advanced Degree in Market Research preferred.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills, including ability to draw actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative data sets preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and PowerBI required.
