Who we are looking for

This is for a Software Developer position with hands-on experience in State Street Global Technology Services seeking a leading technical contributor to the build out of core Cloud Services as part of Alpha Core Data Services platform. The candidate is someone with proven record of technology project execution with ability to get hands on when it comes to analysis design and execution, someone with creativity and self-motivation to delivery on mission critical projects.

What you will be responsible for

As a Developer you will

  • Drive technical excellence by working independently to analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements and solutions
  • for various front, middle and back office implementations
  • Participate in analysis, solutions design and deliver of Cloud-based services as part for Alpha Core Platform
  • Developing and maintaining middle-tier and backend modules using Java, Spring web services, streaming, messaging, SQL and Cloud technologies
  • Work closely with developers, architects and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Develop application solutions collaborating with both on-shore and off-shore teams
  • Work with Business Analysts in translating business requirements into deliverables
  • Adhere to SDLC processes

What we value

  • 3+ years' experience in IT developing data processing solutions
  • Some experience in event driven architectures, message hub, MQ, Kafka is required.
  • Some exposure to Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Micro service architecture, Docker, ETL tools, Data as a Service, ACID and data structures is desired
  • Experience in financial industry working on financial reporting/regulatory projects is a plus.
  • Work closely with the business & IT stake holders to manage delivery

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field

Salary Range:
$75,000 - $120,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
