The organization you will be joining is called Account and Market Opening team. A&MO provides end-to-end view of client delivery to deliver an enhanced experience expertise and issue resolution and on-going improvement.

Responsibility: This is the SME role responsible for fund or market opening, amendment and closure for APAC region, which includes Sydney, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea and Japan.

This role is located in Japan so Native Japanese and good English is required
- Client relationship
- Monitors and drives accountability for end to end service delivery.
- Partners with BOaT and Client Service teams to open/amend/close desired fund or market from client, resolve issues and ensure ownership of timely and accurate service delivery.
- Manages the requests for APAC via Collaborate, ensuring requests are being taken action timely and requests are completed within SLAs.
- Implements best practices in technology and processes as identified by remediation plans or A&MO Leads.
- Escalates issues / incidents as necessary and ensures Account Lead is informed of any existing or potential client issues.
- Adhere to corporate policies, guidelines, and risk and compliance programs.
- Implement effective communication across delivery organization on behalf of client initiatives and internal change events.
- Perform fund and market set ups to support New Business Implementation
- Perform fund and market set ups and amendments on internal systems i.e. MCH, MySS Hogan and IBS, etc., completing New Fund Request Forms and maintaining checklists.
- Liaise with Boat APAC and AMS team to resolve any issues with requests for account and market opening requests
- Obtain relevant documentation and submit to BU AML/KYC teams for them to perform AML/KYC for new and existing State Street clients.
- Preparing and presenting Deals to the Deal Team committee, working with Client Service to complete the required tasks and follow up where necessary and work with relevant teams to have the Deal Team signed off and have the fund switch on.
- Liaise with clients globally to ensure questionnaires and documentation received fulfils requirements based on their request and structure
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor and above
- Major: Finance, Accounting preferred
- Industry Experience: relevant Fund management or client service or communication experience
- Good at Office softwares
Pre Requisite
- 5+ years State Street experience in Operations, preferably Custody
- Must demonstrate ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Ability to manage and priorities workload
- Ability to collaborate with various teams in different jurisdictions and also work well in a team environment
- Ability to accept change and think outside of the box
- Experience with Excel
