Portfolio manager to join global leveraged loan team with 5 - 10 years of experience in credit/high yield/leveraged loans. The portfolio manager will be in Munich and will provide coverage for the bank's $4 billion global Leveraged Loan portfolio.

What you will be responsible for

As portfolio manager you will

  • Monitoring a portfolio of credits from several industries making buy/sell/hold recommendations
  • Follow developments in leveraged loan marketplace thru maintaining relationships with key syndicate banks.
  • Create timely update reports on the credits within coverage; Creating and updating industry reports on those industries covered.
  • Analyzing new investment opportunities, writing investment memos, reviewing financial models, and credit analysis provided by outsourced arrangement with SSGA
  • Monitor portfolio of existing credits for warning signs of potential deterioration of credit profile
  • Perform investment research, including written opinions.
  • Interacting with local and global regulators.

What we value

  • The successful candidate will have at least 5-10 years relevant experience with strong excel skills and analytical abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Ability to liaison with internal risk team

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BA; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
  • Previous buy-side leveraged loan experience
  • Substantial industry sector knowledge and workout experience
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
