Overview:

The Network Architecture Manager for International Networks will drive the solutioning and alignment of services within Network Architecture & Engineering and manage a team of network engineers throughout EMEA and APAC. This role will work collaboratively with the global network team and IT colleagues to lead cross-tower strategy, business alignment, governance and value attainment.

Play a critical role in the development and execution of the network strategic direction across data center, public cloud and network security. Be instrumental in ensuring that stakeholders receive high-quality products and services that meet their specific requirements.

Responsibilities and deliverables include:

  • Collaborate with network leadership and Engineering teams to drive the development and articulation of network architecture & engineering strategy to support stakeholder requirements and value attainment
  • Provide management and support of the international network engineering team
  • Contribute to the management of the network budget to support planning, reporting and finance review
  • Liaison across network towers to define infrastructure requirements and develop high-level designs
  • Collaborate across IT to support business alignment and strategy and ensure the successful implementation of Network Programs
  • Provide oversight of the procurement of infrastructure for Engineering initiatives
  • Drive the collaboration and alignment of the Network Architecture & Engineering solutions roadmap
  • Collaborate with IT engineering teams to define the network requirements to support large-scale deployments and migration initiatives
  • Support the hand-off from Network Engineering to Network Operations

Education & Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent desired
  • 7+ years experience managing technology teams
  • Technical experience in the following areas:
    • Routing and Switching technologies (DC fabric and campus switching)
    • SD-WAN
    • Next-Gen Firewalls and Network Segmentation designs
    • Public cloud design (Azure/AWS)
    • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Solutions
    • Network Load Balancing and Web Application Firewalls
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal teams
  • Skilled at explaining technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to diplomatically and effectively manage issues across functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and/or Sharepoint
