Application Software Development Engineer with around 8-10 years of experience who can analyze, design, develop and maintain software in a mainframe environment using PL/1, COBOL, DB2, JCL and CICS.

ONSITE: Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As Application Software Development Engineer

  • Analyze, design, estimate, and develop software programs to meet project schedule.
  • Maintain and support existing software applications.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in agile methodology - Scrum, Kanban.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Take responsibility of the development deliverables.
  • Oversee day to day activities of one or more project teams.
  • Reviews daily processes and suggests improvements as required.
  • To coordinate with all stakeholders in the program - QA/Business/PM teams.
  • Works closely with other development teams, project managers, analysts, and deployment and support personnel to support project and department goals.
  • Act as key point of contact for all Dev aspects of releases and support.

High level of proficiency in the required programming language.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
