Position Summary:

Be an integral part of an agile organization and contribute to the delivery for one of Charles River's products. Junior delivery analysts should expect coaching and guidance from senior delivery managers and leadership as they develop their skills and contribute to the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Under guidance of senior delivery managers track delivery of assigned projects, ensure all ceremonies are performed, ensure compliance with the State Street/Charles River Development SDLC procedures and agile ceremonies
  • Support senior delivery engineers in overseeing the business operations functions such as headcount or vendor Statement Of Work Management

Also:

  • Contribute to the development of the self-service management dashboards using latest data visualization/analytics tools
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and automate current business operations and project management processes by introducing the advances Artificial Intelligence
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create simple and sustainable software solutions for complex problems
  • Coordinate with other Scrum teams within the R&D organization to consistent processes and best practices are followed
  • Participate in the agile software development process including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Participate in on-the-job and formal trainings to develop your career

What will you learn:

  • Gain hands-on experience with scrum ceremonies, learn how to scale Agile delivery, latest industry delivery trends and best practices
  • Develop full understanding of different delivery methodologies and business operations processes; learn how to manage projects and programs of various complexities
  • Gain knowledge of Scrum, Scaled Agile (SAFe), Lean, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • In partnership with senior delivery , contribute to research the path to achieve automation of operational processes and metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study.
  • 0 - 2 years of professional experience or equivalent college project experience.
  • You are familiar with concepts for delivering software following Scrum methodology
  • You have knowledge about tracking issue system and wiki (e.g. Jira and Confluence)
  • You are familiar with one of the data visualization tools (Power BI, QlickSense, Tableau)
  • You have completed Accounting or Contract Law classes while at school
  • You are eager to learn and challenge status quo and are characterized by a very analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking
  • You have effective written and verbal communication
  • Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
