Job Overview:

As an IT Delivery Manager at JSS, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of software projects from inception to completion. You will manage both internal and client-facing stakeholders, ensuring project delivery meets expectations in terms of quality, time, and budget. In this role, you'll also maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities for upselling, and collaborate with the sales and development teams to ensure seamless service delivery. You will also be spearheading critical initiatives, such as new product launches, where you will drive the development, strategy, and execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery Management: Plan, execute, and deliver projects according to set deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints. Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables.


  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-sale, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring continuous communication to address client needs.


  • Account Management: Work closely with account management and sales teams to identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities, helping to drive revenue growth through additional service offerings.


  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.


  • Team Leadership: Lead the delivery teams by providing guidance, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Spearhead regular 1-on-1 meetings to track team progress, address concerns, and foster personal and professional growth. Be a strong leader who motivates and coordinates the team, ensuring team cohesion, communication, and alignment with project goals. You will also manage performance, resolve conflicts, and maintain team morale.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors. Manage stakeholder expectations, report on project progress, and ensure timely delivery.


  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and propose improvements to delivery processes, driving operational excellence and enhancing client satisfaction.


  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, oversee billable project hours, and ensure the financial health of ongoing engagements.


  • KPIs & Reporting: Track key performance indicators and prepare reports on project progress and client engagement metrics. Ensure alignment with the strategic roadmap of the company and the client's goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.


  • 5+ years of experience in IT Delivery Management, Project Management, or similar roles, preferably in a software services environment.


  • Strong experience in account management and client relations, with a proven ability to manage client relationships and drive client satisfaction.


  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Gantt charts, WBS, etc.).


  • Experience managing global teams and working with international clients.


  • Proven experience in financial management related to project delivery.

Skills:

  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.


  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


  • Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.


  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience spearheading initiatives such as product launches, from development to execution.


  • Strategic thinking with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.


  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.


  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
