This role is a fantastic opportunity to join the talented and dynamic State Street Global Advisors Intermediary Client Coverage Team.
In this role, your key mission would be to develop and implement strategies to drive sales of locally domiciled SPDR ETFs, unlisted managed funds and the State Street ETF model portfolios across our key client segments: Financial Intermediaries including financial advisers, IFAs, brokers, private wealth managers, private banks, family offices and asset managers. In this context you will be partnering with our local Marketing and Strategy teams to build relationships and provide investment solutions to our clients.
This role will sit within a team friendly environment where you would work collaboratively to promote our Australian domiciled range of ETFs, managed funds and ETF Model Portfolios in Australia. Together we will continue to build a client focused, collaborative and dynamic sales culture.

What you will be responsible for
As Intermediary Relationship Manager, you will
- This role will require you to develop and execute strategies to drive sales of locally domiciled ETFs, unlisted managed funds and the State Street ETF model portfolios across key client groups within the Australian Intermediary segments.
- Build and maintain a book of business with key clients.
- Identify and anticipate client requirements, expectations and needs.
- Clearly communicate fund investment ideas and research to clients and prospects.
- Leverage CRM and business intelligence proactively to devise and implement an effective sales plan each quarter.
- Execute sales campaigns and dynamically involve clients on major SSGA initiatives (seminars, events, surveys) while promoting an excellent and positive teamwork culture at all times.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to provide input into new product ideas/product enhancements.
- Partner closely with the Marketing Team to design, create and execute sales strategies; and
- Remain abreast of industry and product trends (including competitive analysis) to ensure SSGA is strongly positioned in your allocated region(s).

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Strong client facing capabilities with investment experience in the asset management industry, (preferably ETFs and funds) for part or all your financial services career.
- Has operated at a mid-level in strategic sales, marketing and client relationship management for around 5 years.
- Understands the various Intermediary market segments and the role of investment platforms in our industry.
- Ability to contribute to, and execute successfully on, strategic sales plans through one on one and one to many activities.
- Degree qualified or equivalent with a financial or analytical discipline preferred; and
- Current RG146 qualifications.
