Allstate Canada Group is seeking a Broker Relationship Manager to lead broker distribution channels within their assigned regions. This role involves recommending, implementing, and maintaining strategies to sell Pembridge and Pafco insurance products. You will be responsible for driving growth, maintaining retention goals, and fostering stronger broker relationships to achieve success in your regions.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with internal Broker Relationship Managers, and our broker partners, to identify challenges faced by brokers and develop solutions through analysis and value-added reporting.
- Implement and monitor strategies to support Pembridge/Pafco retention and growth goals, enhancing broker and policyholder satisfaction.
- Travel consistently to broker and branch offices as part of a field-focused role, including attendance at events.
- Strengthen the Pembridge and Pafco brand through active participation in industry and community events.
- Analyze competition and market opportunities within the region and develop/execute plans to manage broker performance, including rehabilitation efforts, targeted risk initiatives, and growth targets.
- Align departmental goals with broader business objectives to position Pembridge/Pafco as the preferred market for brokers in the region.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with brokers, ensuring alignment with budget constraints.
- Achieve optimal regional results by meeting sales targets, training objectives, and broker satisfaction metrics.
- Create and execute a strategic business plan tailored to regional goals and the overall brand strategy.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with a focus on broker relations, sales, or account management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans tailored to regional goals and organizational strategies.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with market analysis and value-added reporting.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, broker retention, and satisfaction metrics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage broker partnerships effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the region and attend events during non-traditional work hours.
- Ability to align team and individual activities with organizational goals to support retention and growth strategies.
- Experience representing a brand at community and industry events, enhancing market presence and awareness.
