Who we are looking for
The Strategic Initiatives Technical Lead is a senior level role within the Corporate Finance Organization responsible for defining, leading, and executing on a strategic delivery roadmap, such as Cloud Adoption and Transformation. The role will partner closely with senior leadership across both Business and Global Technology Services, both internally to the team as well as externally. We are looking for a strong leader that is familiar with both Finance products and associated industry tools.

What you will be responsible for

As the Corporate Finance Strategic Initiatives Technical Lead, you will

  • Supervising a team of finance technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture and functional design, testing, and implementation while maintaining strong business relationship.
  • Design solutions and roadmaps leveraging end to end process reengineering and operating model impact assessment and efficiencies including alignment to latest resiliency and global cyber security guidelines and protocals
  • Execute transition from transformation projects to BAU, covering all operational readiness, planning, and execution (e.g. controls, monitoring, logging) •
  • Establish and execute 'Technology with Operations' model, identifying efficiency initiatives via automation and/or better use of platform capabilities •
  • Manage and mentor a team of Finance and related technology professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Integrate and supervise team members from our technology partners and service vendors to ensure seamless delivery •
  • Assess forward-looking skills requirements, develop and track cross-skilling and upskilling plans amongst team members and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development •
  • Provide expert guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during peer group or vendor design reviews and product demos with an eye towards simplicity of design and function

What we value

Must have 12+ years as either a solution architect, development, and/or technical delivery lead with a demonstrable technology background

A successful individual needs to be able to work through problems and research issues, guide the cross-functional team, and delivery shows attention to detail and accuracy

High-level functional knowledge of end to end integration of financial modules with other applications/modules across the Corporate Finance Tech Stack

Architecture and development experience along with the software development lifecycle

Excellent Communication Skills to demonstrate a structured and clear approach to communicate potentially complex solutions to less technical stakeholder, team members and business sponsors

Strong leadership in Talent Management, Skills Management, SLA and KPI on delivery

Vendor resource management and associated resourcing, budgeting, and forecasting

Analytical skills to understand operational challenges and estimate efficiency book of work

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $222,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
