Who we are looking for:
An opportunity has been created to join the growing Risk Monitoring COE team in Sydney. The Risk Monitoring Associate will assist the members of the group with the global monitoring and screening of Swift messages in the Firco system and will be liaising with clients, business units and Corporate Compliance for potential sanctions breaches. The associate will have responsibilities including but not limited to scheduling, reporting, and escalations. This role will be based on a five day shift from 9:00am to 5:30 pm to begin with and subsequent to having completed the training it will be moved to an afternoon/evening shift with start/finish times between 12:30pm to 9:00pm (winter) and 2:30pm and 11:00pm (summer) with shift loading, flex plan and work from home opportunity.

What you will be responsible for:
As Operations Specialist Associate you will
- The associate will have responsibilities including but not limited to scheduling, reporting, and escalations.
- The Risk Monitoring Associate will assist the members of the group with the global monitoring and screening of Swift messages in the Firco system and will be liaising with clients, business units and Corporate Compliance for potential sanctions breaches.
- Attention to detail and a good communicator are also strong qualities required for the role.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial services experience is essential
- Degree qualified
