Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a track record of success in testing automation within large, complex, client facing transformation programs. The Alpha Global Testing Practice is focused on the strategy, planning, execution, and overall management, of end-to-end platform testing during Alpha implementations in support of our clients, internal business units, and industry partners. These transformation programs are often multi-year and consist of complex business models and flows across front, middle and back office, and the data that persists across the platform, our clients, and industry partners.

The right candidate will have experience and proven success in managing and building testing automation programs using UiPath for both robotics and GenAI, as well as using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Xray. This role will be based out of Krakow, Poland.

What you will be responsible for

This role will be responsible for working with the global head of automation to manage the team's central automation practice, and to partner with the global testing team members who utilize automation in the field.

  • Strategic thought leadership for the global test automation framework
  • Managing and partnering with a global testing team of functional and automation testers who design, plan, and execute testing for all in scope applications, systems, workflows, and data models/flows
  • Leading the planning, design, and execution of all automation testing activities
  • Preparing materials and providing regular status updates to senior leaders
  • Adoption and continuous improvement of best practices and testing standards
  • Financial planning and resource management for the automation team including estimation, budget to actual, and change management

What we value

The successful candidate must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and understand global portfolio management and financial servicing; including portfolio construction, trading, compliance, and risk across all major asset classes. This position will have interaction with, and exposure to, the highest levels of executive management within State Street and within our clients' organizations.

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Strong background in test automation and specifically, UiPath Test Suite
  • Experience working with both cloud native and on prem applications. Charles River Investment Management Solutions (CRIMS) and Snowflake are two prominent in scope applications.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, and team-based environment, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Experience in agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, Confluence) preferred
  • Experience in portfolio management theory and application, as well as trading platforms is useful but not essential
  • Risk management skills, especially those acquired at G-SIFI organizations and/or large public accounting firms
  • Knowledge of key risk indicators, governance, oversight and escalation practices
  • Experience presenting across various stakeholder groups, including clients
  • Strong execution management skills for delivery of programs and initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate and work across multiple stakeholders

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 5+ years of testing automation experience
  • 5+ years of financial and/or technology transformation experience
  • 3+ years' experience leading and managing project teams consisting of employees, contractors, and partner organizations
