Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced business professional to coordinate the integration of Collateral Management for all new Alpha Clients. Alpha Collateral offers collateral solutions and capabilities to flexibly support our State Street clients. The product suite includes end-to-end collateral management, administration and servicing, analytics and optimization, and transformation.

This role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from initial planning and analysis to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards You will report directly to the North American Head of Collateral Management and work collaboratively with regional and global cross-business partners and cross-organizational support functions (e.g., Sales, Onboarding, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance).

The Implementation Specialist will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered in time, within budget and meet quality standards

What you will be responsible for as Implementation Specialist you will

Drive Implementation Strategy

  • Develop relationships with key client contacts and ensure State Street is viewed as an integral, long-term partner
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Set clear project goals and track progress using key performance indicators (KPIs).

Execution and Delivery:

  • Lead project teams comprising analysts, associates, and other professionals, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
  • Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements and internal standards, coordinating with legal and compliance teams as needed

Stakeholder Communication and Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the bank, clients, and external partners, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project updates, financial analyses, and final reports to clients and senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying and addressing any deviations.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation for internal and external review.

Risk Management and Quality Assurance:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project delivery.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in analysis
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Clarity,).
  • Capable of effectively prioritizing and escalating communication where appropriate

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferred
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are advantageous
  • 8+ years of collateral management, derivatives services or middle office operations experience preferred

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $177,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
