The main goal of the Sup, Remote Monitoring Operations Center (RMOC) position is to oversee a team of Remote Monitoring Ops Specialists I, II, and IIIs who are responsible for maintaining situational awareness, gathering information from internal and external sources, coordinating incidents with security leaders and intelligence analysts, and disseminate information for priority matters. Security Supervisors will also work independently and manage complex matters that are handled by Specialists to include incident response strategy to minor investigations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Supervise a team of Remote Monitoring Operations Specialists including the management of surveillance systems, alarms and other platforms designed to provide notification of potential risks to Charter assets and employees
- Supervise assessment of information collected to ensure appropriate priority levels are identified and appropriate incident management actions are initiated. Supervise real-time surveillance to detect and respond to potential security threats
- Develop and implement training programs for specialists and other team members to ensure they are well trained in monitoring procedures, emergency response and the use of security technology
- Ensure all relevant databases are searched and results efficiently documents suitable for dissemination
- Supervise the execution of incident management functions to ensure coordination with stakeholders and the initiation of an incident in the investigative case management system
- Manage performance of RMOC personnel to ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures
- Communicate with Corporate Security Sr. Leaders to provide information and recommendations on actual or potential risks and threats
- Continuously assess standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Enforce security policies and procedures ensuring compliance with organizational standards
- Manage the scheduling of personnel
- Support all Charter business units, facilities, and employees by addressing any emergency and non-emergency incidents that come to the attention of the PSOC, whether security related or not
- Manage special projects in support of RMOC and Corporate Physical Security operations

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Ability to manage team with multiple priorities, working efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines and in a stressful environment
Ability to master Corporate Physical Security computer-based technology - Effective computer proficiency in Microsoft office applications, GIS systems, and other open-source search engines and applications
Technical competence for video and alarm monitoring systems - Efficient decision-making ability during emergencies
- Effective research and analytical skills
- Skilled documentation and written communication
- Expert oral communication skills with the ability to present incident details in a clear and concise manner to Enterprise Investigation Leaders, Divisional Security Leaders and executive level management

Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Equivalent military / law enforcement /security operation center work experience - 2+
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Experience working in an operations center - 2+
Demonstrated proficiency with the Everbridge Suite of products (Visual Command Center (VCC), Critical Incident Management (CEM), and Emergency Notification System (ENS)
Experience in Alarm Monitoring
