JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for data analysis and business case development within the Revenue Assurance Department. This position will be tasked with analyzing data to assist in understanding and addressing complex business issues.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Promote teamwork and cultivate knowledge and integrity
  • Analyze data from billing systems, provisioning systems, and other data sources
  • Transform large sets of data to identify and quantify business opportunities
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to realize benefits of identified business opportunities
  • Utilize various software applications to understand how source data is created, changed, used, and transferred between systems
  • Perform detailed use-case reviews at a granular level
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data sets to discover patterns and trends
  • Develop management reporting to monitor business trends and growth initiatives; perform trend analysis
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify data discrepancies, issues, integration gaps and opportunities
  • Create presentations for internal and senior management
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of financial models
  • Perform other duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge


  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze and interpret data with attention to detail
  • Ability to understand business rules and processes
  • High level of curiosity and investigative mind-set
  • Ability to think analytically and use data to identify business opportunities
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable management recommendations
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks independently
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
  • Strong knowledge of MS Applications, including use of advanced MS Excel functions a plus
  • Functional knowledge of financial statements a plus
  • Financial modeling skills a plus
  • SQL knowledge a plus
  • Functional knowledge of CSG or ICOMS billing systems a plus

Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business; or related field or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience Number of Years
Advanced data reporting experience including
Project management Experience
CSG/ICOMS experience preferred

Financial modeling experience preferred

Cable, telecommunications industry experience preferred
