CO Salary Range: USD 110,800.00 - 196,400.00 per year

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for management of a team of software professionals who deliver customer-facing and back office software solutions. In addition, responsible for day-to-day management of software development teams in all facets of hiring, performance management and growth opportunities.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Manage a development team that operates cross-functionally with product, operations, and testing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of code.

Provide team support and direction on shifting priorities for new and existing projects as well as enterprise initiatives. Organizes and delegates work as needed.

Implement software proposals and estimates scope of work.

Plans for and aligns resources for completion of work.

Works closely with cross functional teams on resource allocation, budget implications and timeline considerations.

Escalation point for internal partners to assist in resolving roadblocks and mitigating risks to ensure successful on-time software product delivery.

Ensures adequate documentation is created.

Provide input to management regarding technical issues, strategic planning of projects, system operations, and new software development and deployment.

Develop a collaborative culture that embodies both industry best practices and

and Charter values.

Experiment with new technologies to make sure we can scale for the future.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
Knowledge of company products and services
Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Attention to detail and quality with effective problem solving and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of automation, testing, and code quality
Knowledge of Java, JavaScript or Python and modern software approaches and architectures
Experience leading teams in a Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Education
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Software Engineering experience - 6+
Leadership experience - 3

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Experience with AWS and micro services

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
