CO Salary Range: USD 110,800.00 - 196,400.00 per year
The Senior Development Manager (SdM) is responsible for defining and leading product development efforts from ideation to commercial launch. The SdM serves as the development subject matter expert to support new product categories and drive product enhancements through proof-of-concept activities. This role will engage cross-functionally, with internal and external teams, to manage and develop a growing Spectrum Mobile product portfolio. The SdM will work closely with product management leaders to execute on the product vision and user experience. SdM will focus on cross-product development and the creation of plans to meet schedules and budget allocations. The SdM will also act as a cross-functional liaison between the business and technical organizations.

- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to team of software-development and DevTest.
- Utilizing in-depth knowledge of C, C++, Python and modern software approaches for Development and Test automation.
- Using advanced knowledge of networking protocols and standards, including WiFi (802.11), ethernet (802.3), LTE/5G, Thread, TCP/IP, and the OSI model.
- Utilizing in-depth knowledge of customer premises equipment, such as WiFi routers, WiFi extenders, cable modems, or set-top boxes.
- Coordinating OEM's for good quality deliverables.
- Manage a development team that operates cross-functionally with product, operations, and testing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of code.
- Provide team support and direction on shifting priorities for new and existing projects as well as enterprise initiatives. Organizes and delegates work as needed.
- Implement software proposals and estimates scope of work.
- Working with development team to schedule a knowledge sharing for all new feature development to all test teams.
- Working with automation team to make sure automate all manual test cases and run in CI/CD pipelines.
- Plans for and aligns resources for completion of work.
- Escalation points for internal partners to assist in resolving roadblocks and mitigating risks to ensure successful on-time software product delivery.
- Ensures adequate documentation is created.
- Provide input to management regarding technical issues, strategic planning of projects, system operations, and new software development and deployment.
- Develop a collaborative culture that embodies both industry best practices and Charter values.
- Experiment with new technologies to make sure we can scale for the future.

Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
