BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Senior Director, Video Platforms on the this team, you will be responsible for leading a team responsible for initiating and delivering platform specific product development initiatives. Will own the successful development and maintenance of a platform's backlog, documentation for multiple audiences, and release planning and support. Oversee solutions for reporting of operational performance metrics, customer communication and notification, and competitive analysis. Must be passionate about changing how Charter's customers consume our services, while caring deeply about improving the relationship that Charter has with its customers.

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Provide strategic, technical leadership and innovation to a cross functional team through the development, implementation, testing and launch of new features.

• Passionate around web technologies and building an extensible code base around modern frameworks that enables reusability across multiple application ecosystems

• Ability to review architectures and influence peers or team members to balance architectural goals with time to market and customer value
• Own and is accountable for management of product lifecycle and roadmap for digital video platforms, supporting residential and commercial users.
• Develop and enhance credibility with internal and external team members to direct planning and implementation, while driving deliverable timelines.
• Own the successful implementation of use cases, business rules, and functions as the liaison and facilitates collaboration amongst the cross functional teams and leaders.
• Oversee platform backlog to ensure work is properly prioritized and delivered in a timely manner.
• Is accountable for the delivery of the product vision for the platform.
• Proactively identifies and achieves key customer experience metrics for the video platform, making adjustments as necessary to reflect platform changes.
• Secure customer-facing product enhancements that generate increased engagement, revenue growth and market penetration.
• Drive teams to creatively ingest information on performance and market analysis of video platforms, customer operational metrics, achievement of plan objectives, etc.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications
• Experience:

o 10+ years product development, product management experience in telecommunications, software or web services or other related industries
o Experience retaining, managing, and growing talented team to deliver high quality digital products in very aggressive timeframes
o Experience managing internal and external vendors and customers to meet deadlines and initiatives

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Technical Skills:

o Demonstrated technical knowledge of client-side and API development
o Knowledge of architecture, design and performance optimization of traditional and IP video streaming technologies

o Ability to define/review data analytics to help monitor application performance, stability and customer usage of features
o Advanced verbal and written presentation skills including use of Outlook, Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Skills:

o Data driven decision making and excellent analytical skills
o Demonstrated project management experience

• Abilities:

o Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
o Ability to manage multiple projects across a broad application portfolio simultaneously
o Adaptability to manage through project priority and organizational changes
o Ability to problem solve without escalation or with thoughtful recommendation when escalated
o Ability to motivate, and manage cross-functional teams, influencing peers and leaders
o Ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies and tactics
o Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
o Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and quickly to meet changing demands
o Ability to communicate effectively orally and electronically with all levels of management

• Travel Ability:

o Office environment
o Some travel required

• Schedule:

o Full time
o This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)

• Master's degree or equivalent experience

The base pay for this position generally is between $155,600.00 and $275,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
