Spectrum Reach seeks a Principal Engineer for our Advanced Technology Services team. The team exists to build, design, and deliver emerging advanced digital advertising solutions and tools for Spectrum Reach. This position is a technical role with a focus on Order Management Software (OMS) and the automation of the digital order entry.
A qualified candidate must have extensive knowledge within the following domains: digital OMS, custom integrations, CRM software, campaign management, ad decision servers, billing, and reporting tools. The role will heavily support our impression-based transformation. The team partners with various departments to identify opportunities to design and solution, using best practices, for automating workflows and processes. The team elicits the needs of stakeholders, assists in the verification of functional and non-functional requirements, and drives projects to technical and operational enablement.

A successful candidate should have a high level of knowledge in the Ad serving, Ad Sales, and Ad Operations industry and have a track record of successfully integrating and/or launching Ad serving technologies.
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Provide subject matter expertise for an assigned technology domain.
- Contribute to the execution of proofs-of-concept for new approaches and platforms.
- Design, implement, and provide guidance for monitoring and troubleshooting systems in assigned areas.
- Adhere to best practices for code development, version control, test automation and build automation.
- Provide Engineering Technical support and guidance, and ensure all technical integrations, changes, standards and documentation are met.
- Work closely with technical architects and other technical staff.
- Review work plans and design and advise on improvements.
Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable. - Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently multiple projects and tasks.

- Technical background in software design and development.
- Ability to explore new concepts and approaches.
- Perform other duties as requested by manager.
- Capable of articulating ideas effectively through written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Technical experience in software engineering and architecture
- Extensive knowledge or Digital OMS, Custom integration and CRM Software
- Delivery experience in development of highly scalable software platforms
- Experience with Ad Sales and Ad operations within the industry
- Demonstrated experience with software architecture design
- Experience integrating and launching Ad serving technology
- Ability to perform duties in a very fast-pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications
- Ad Operations experience - 5+
- Media Integration experience - 5+
- Solutions Architecture experience with Media/Advertising - 5+
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
