TITLE: Lead Software Developer
LOCATION:Maryland Heights, MO
JOB SUMMARY: Support, troubleshoot, and develop Spectrum Mobile buyflows and enterprise-level web services for Backend. Design, develop, modify, and implement applications and/or services designed to support the organization's applications. Coordinate with vendors and internal support teams on problem resolution, defects, design issues, and upgrades. Code, test, and debug new software and make enhancements to existing software with little to no assistance. Analyze and develop java solutions based on customer requirements. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of system components. Lead code review sessions to validate adherence with development standards and provide input to development teams. Resolve incidents and problems for production applications and web services as well as implement, monitor, test, and audit new software programs. Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review. Work collectively with the product owner, program leadership, and others and support them in resolving complex issues. Mentor and train junior members of the team and serve as an escalation point for all issues. This position does not directly supervise team members, and instead the position's supervisor, IT Manager, manages the team.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. 4 years of experience designing, coding, developing, and testing software applications in Java programming languages including Java and J2EE. 4 years of experience developing Enterprise web applications using HTTP oriented Java platform with Spring. 4 years of experience processing large volumes of data and performing database operations using Oracle SQL. 3 years of experience building Microservices using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). 3 years of experience writing unit test cases and test using Mock, Junit, and Mockito. 2 years of experience in developing and configuring ETL jobs using Pentaho. A hybrid (in office and remote) arrangement is available.
