JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing centralized contract support to the Charter Business Units (BU). Acts as point of contact within the Procurement Operations group to manage workspace creation, DOA approval, final contract execution and ongoing administrative support for the agreement going forward. Necessitates understanding of Ariba Contracts application, contracting methods and contract types to maintain and manage agreements. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Manage contract request intake process, organizes and documents work electronically through the use of a contract status log, electronic filing system, and entering into companies electronic contract management system (Ariba Contracts Management)
Review and analyze complex contracts, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies in line with company policies and other requirements
Manage Ariba Contract Workspace through all stages (creation, approval, amendment, signature) applying solid knowledge of contracting methods and contract types
Provide ongoing contract management support and training, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements with both internal personnel and external stakeholders
Act as a central point of contact for clarification on Ariba contract process, required documentation, and Charter's contract management system
Develop and evolve productive relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers
Collaborate with senior level Procurement personnel, Legal, and Finance to ensure contracts' compliance with company standards to manage risk and liabilities
Identify and make recommendations of ways to improve business processes and assist with the plans to implement these changes in collaboration with Procurement leadership, Sourcing, the Business stakeholders and Legal
Provide analysis to support decisions for change
Effectively support and manage complex BU/Category
Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff
Participate in project teams or special project assignments
Perform other duties as assigned and/or required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Demonstrated contract repository knowledge and skills
Working knowledge of legal terms and their application

Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience in contract administration - 3+

Contract Management software/applications
Familiarity of the Strategic Sourcing process
Experience with Legal, Finance, and other inter-related departments
Preferred Education
Education in Law or Supply Chain Management

Contract/legal/paralegal experience preferred
Experience in project management 0-3

The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
