INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ANALYST
SpaceX is looking for a multidisciplinary Industrial Security Analyst to serve as a primary program security officer within our Vandenberg, CA office. This is a chance to fill a critical role within a dynamic and high-tempo environment working on programs pushing the boundaries of industry and technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver and will possess the ability to convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own all classified security aspects at SpaceX’s Vandenberg launch site including, but not limited to, the following disciplines: Industrial Security, Physical Security, Launch Security, Communications Security (COMSEC), SCI & SAP security
- Support the physical security program/infrastructure, to include co-use agreements, security CONOPS, OPSEC plans, PPP’s, DD254’s, etc.
- Facilitate secure area badging and access
- Assist with initial security clearance briefings, debriefings, and security-centric education
- Act as the primary onsite launch security point of contact for a busy National Security Launch manifest
- Process classified visit access requests
- Maintain accountability of associated program materials
- Ownership of compliance inspections
- Conduct security related inquires
- Attend and support various customer meetings and security working groups
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years security experience performing NISPOM related security responsibilities within an SCI/SAP or industrial security environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Strong knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD SAP Security Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related security policies and procedures
- Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, CORE, TALON and JADE
- Familiarity with SIMS
- Familiarity with a wide range of DoD and IC community customers
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph
- Ability to pass Air Force background check for Vandenberg
- Ability to travel in support of mission requirements
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestones
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Industrial Security Analyst /Level I: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year
Industrial Security Analyst/Level II: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
