Responsibilities

  • Manage operations of the group, primarily through delegation to individual contributors and lead talent planning. Effectively leverage people and systems to drive and influence changes which improve the customer experience, enhance controls, and lower costs
  • Provide representation on teams addressing business needs for both internal and external partners.
  • Provide oversight to all financial and tariff contract management activities to ensure that activities are delivered to meet business requirements and priorities
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation and opportunity plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Partner with other organizations in the finance, legal, regulatory, compliance, and operations areas to help ensure conformance with GAAP, laws, and regulations
  • Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on tariff, accounting, and process integration to develop and implement new or changed regulations, resolve unique issues, answer questions, etc
  • Develop and implement metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of the operations of the group.
  • Ensure timely budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and other financial activities
  • Envision, design, and implement process improvements to operate more efficiently
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in contract management, project management, or program management and handling agreements from origination to termination.
  • Five or more years combined experience performing or leading work with grid contract management or financial/accounting operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Regulatory experience with rules, tariffs (e.g., proceedings such as orders instituting rulemaking, orders instituting investigation, advice letters, and general rate cases).
  • Experience with financial and/or accounting practices.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related discipline

Additional Information

  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.\u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
