Become a Chief of Staff at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Southern California Edison and will provide a variety of professional support to the CEO and, at times, their leadership team and direct reports.
The successful candidate will provide guidance and direction to individuals and teams across the organization, prepare for the CEOs day-to-day activities, provide oversight of strategic projects, and have daily interface with executives across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with senior executives to prioritize strategic business decisions
- Guiding department heads with expert advice to enhance overall team efficiency
- Managing the development of materials for the SCE and EIX Board of Directors
- Providing hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor their progress
- Acting on behalf of the SCE CEO/President to answer inquiries
- Steering strategic business initiatives from genesis to fruition
- Pinpointing and addressing core issues within business processes
- Evaluating risk factors when making critical business decisions
- Completing special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support
- Setting key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance
- Leading meetings and forums with meticulous planning and coordination, ensuring they remain focused and effective
- Identifying areas of improvement across the company and making actionable recommendations
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
- Experience managing significant cross-functional business projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in applicable profession, business or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Experience in public affairs, government relations, public policy, or a related field
- Skilled in developing and executing internal and external communication plans to effectively communicate and engage with employees, customers, regulators, community leaders and more
- Proven ability to lead the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives
- Strong planner and organizer with superior project management skills
- Strong business judgment, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with all company levels, maintaining tact and diplomacy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Agile, with a sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects

Additional Information
- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- Position will require up to 40% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
