THE ROLE
We are seeking an innovative individual to join us at our iconic 278-year-old brand and bring to life the power of our assets for marketing partners looking to reach the most affluent audience in the world. Our omnichannel partnership model includes digital marketing, experiential marketing and commerce solutions. Our partners are best-in-class global brands across various industries: luxury goods, technology, financial services, automotive, hospitality, real estate and travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute partnership deals with end to end ownership, acting as account manager, monitoring and working towards partnership marketing deadlines, overseeing partnership execution from beginning to end.
- Support the global team by developing partnership pitches and proposals based on Sotheby’s omnichannel partnership model.
- Identify the partnership package being offered and secure approved/ pre-approved rights and benefits with internal local stakeholders.
- Compile partnerships report for the global team and lead feedback/debrief to quantify partner’s returns on investment.
- Compile end-of-year report and video recaps.
- Proactively nurture and support each individual partnership client and expert through the contract detail, working as a key player in the client team for all relationships.
- Liaise closely with internal team members, local and international offices, Business/Client Development, Specialist departments, Legal, Special Events, Marketing and Communications.
- Oversee invoicing process.
- Assist Sotheby's Global Partnerships team with all administrative tasks.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- 3+ years marketing experience
- Previous luxury marketing experience and an understanding of luxury brand equity amongst HNWI preferred
- A solid understanding of setting campaign performance metrics
- Demonstrated experience in project and team management
- A balance of strategic and creative thinking with strong analytical skills
- An unwavering attention to detail and uncompromising excellent standards willing to constantly strive for improvement
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Solutions-oriented with strong process and project management skills
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment working on a number of different and varied projects at one time to tight deadlines
- Able to work independently to meet varied goals and strict deadlines
- Highly motivated, organized, proactive, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and resourceful
- Excellent client empathy and service skills
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Educated to degree level, BA preferably in Marketing
- Interest in the Art world and Luxury industry
The proposed base salary for this position ranges from $75,000-$100,000. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
