Located in a historic spot where the Strand and Fleet Street meet, 180 House spans two slots and features an outdoor terrace, a rooftop pool and views over the city. A go-to destination for an elegant lunch or dinner, the eighth-floor dining room offers an elevated experience. Casual dining can be found in the rest of the club and on the rooftop terrace. There is a wide selection of wines and new seasonal cocktails, which can be enjoyed with lunch, dinner or after hours.
The Role…
Assistant to the Safety & Operations Manager; responsible for variables management (orders and invoice processing), deliveries, CGS quarterly stock counts, BOH team scheduling and management. Supporting the Safety & Operations Manager with maintaining House health and safety standards, online safety management system, as well as managing contract maintenance and maintenance callouts.
Main Responsibilities...
- Day-to-day management of BOH goods receivers and maintenance technicians.
- Daily tasks assignment, opening and handover checklists for BOH teams.
- Club storage, loading bay, and plant rooms upkeep and supervision.
- Variables management:
- Weekly/ periodical variables ordering (CGS/ Disposable Items/ Chemicals/ Uniforms/Equipment etc) based on budgets set by GM/ Safety & Ops Manager
- Variables invoices processing via Adaco and POSH
- Cellars
- Ensuring cellars are within H&S guidelines and practices
- Receiving deliveries and making sure deliveries are distributed to the 180 building outlets:
- In good condition
- Same as listed on invoice
- Matching H&S requirement and logged in
- Liaising with the S&O Manager, Bar Manager, Head/Sous Chef, AGM, GM regarding deliveries and communicating any issues or changes.
- Liaising with suppliers on behalf of Head of Department:
- Following up deliveries
- Returns
- Credit notes
- Invoices
- Quarterly CSG stock count.
- Linen & pool towels par levels management including liaising with HODs on requirements.
- BOH team health and safety training (goods receivers and maintenance technicians).
What we are looking for...
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety legislations and best practices for the hospitality industry;
- Health & Safety and Food Safety Level 2 certificate holder;
- Personal License holder;
- Able to work full time, including weekends and evenings;
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues;
- Reliable, trustworthy, punctual;
- Sense of urgency;
- Yes yes yes mentality;
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
180 House Opening Hours:
Mon – Weds – 8am – 1am
Thurs – Fri – 8am – 3am
Saturday – 9am – 3am
Sunday – 9am – 11pm
*kitchen will close earlier
