To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Health & Safety Advisor (m/f/d) - Data Centre located preferably in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Reporting to the Service Centre Operations Manager, EMEA , the Health & Safety Advisor's role will oversee that all health and safety protocols are adhered to during construction and operations. In addition, the H&S Advisor will oversee risk management, implement safety measures, and ensure compliance with regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
What a typical day looks like:
- Responsible for planning, managing and completion of the Health and Safety Inspection;
- Publish and Review RAMS to maintain Risk Management within site operations;
- Conducting and participating in the Auditing Process for site operations, including manufacturing and client-based installation sites, to ensure compliance to requirements;
- Communicate & Maintain Organisational Policies and Metrics pertaining to site works;
- Proactively work with operational teams to ensure that HSE is considered at all stages and that relevant control measures are identified;
- Promoting ownership and positive HSE culture;
- Monitoring and Measuring HSE objectives and targets in-line with internal metrics;
- Compliance Assurance in line with client, legislation, and best practices;
- Identify health and safety related risks and issues across Anord Mardix sites and assist in the design and arrangements necessary for the remedial actions;
- Contribute in reporting or resolving incidents, near misses and accidents vis internal reporting systems;
- Managing, mentoring, and coaching Site Services Team to H&S requirements and norms;
- Ability to travel across sites in Germany and Europe.
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety OR Master in Health, Environment, Safety and Sustainability OR Technician with additional qualifications as an occupational safety specialist;
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience in a Health & Safety role within a construction site role;
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills;
- Extensive knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, ISO 45001, relevant Standards and other relevant legislation as well as ISO 14001 ;
- Experience with Audits and RAMS on construction sites;
- Car driving licence valid for EU;
- Fluent English and German knowledge both in written and spoken form.
