Membership Manager for Soho House Copenhagen!
At Soho House, a membership manager is responsible for directly building and defining the local membership community to ensure the membership culture and experience are maximised. They will manage their time to handle recruitment and outreach, retention and member inquiries and on the floor face time with members and their guests. You will be a direct link between our members and operations, acting as a voice for our members. In addition, the role requires a digital and social media savvy individual.
An integral aspect of the role is developing relationships and understanding the member community, their mindset and needs, consistently being present and available on the floor, essentially dividing presence across morning, noon, and night.

A membership manager will report into the Head of Member and Communications for the House or region, ensuring membership targets are achieved and that the overall experience within the House is consistently high quality, friendly and memorable. They will work cohesively with their peers in events and content to deliver the best possible experience for all who enter our Houses or locations.
In order to be taken into consideration for this position you need to reside in Denmark and have extensive local knowledge. This role will include working evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities:
- Curate member connections and engagement
- Responsible for house ambiance from lighting, to music and sound level
- Help DJ and live music schedule alongside the Member Events manager. Provide feedback on key bookings and suggest improvements where required
- Act as the face of the House to members and be available to respond positively to all inquiries and needs of our guests and ensure timely resolutions to any issues they may have
- Manage guest list and last-minute requests
- Promote and help deliver food and drink offering
- Maintain a constant presence on the floor by always engaging with members and building relatable and meaningful relationships
- Key point for coordination of activities between the reception, floor, kitchen and membership team
- Connect to all large events (Music, Art, Fashion etc.) across the city so we attract talent to our houses when people are in town
- Be on the pulse of culture about key moments in the city and curate an innovative, fun and inclusive atmosphere to contribute to our diversity in membership
- Obtain and feedback event suggestions that members would like to see in programming
- Observe the in-club crowds in the evening and adhere to standards of behaviors/rules etc.
Requirements:
For this role you need to know the local community. You need to enjoy interacting with our members and guests and be a good communicator as well as problem-solver.

- A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A natural team player, who can work with individuals of all experience levels
- Prior experience with hospitality is a plus
