Sodexo is seeking an engaging human resource professional to join the team as a Human Resources Manager 2 at UTMB Galveston located in Galveston, TX.
The HR Manager will support human resources functions for about 300 environmental services (EVS) managers, supervisors, and frontline employees across 3 locations. This role will manage training and development, performance appraisals, coaching, and employee relations investigations with a focus on initiatives to drive retention and employee engagement.

The successful candidate will:
- have a background in human resources management
- understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;
- have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
- detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands; and/or
- have excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.
We are looking for candidates who:
- work well independently and as part of a team;
- understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;
- have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year of HR experience
