Sodexo Live's! Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a Human Resources Manager 1, to support the private airport lounge location we manage for our valued airline clients at LaGuardia Airport. This role will report to the Human Resources Business Partner and will provide HR and administrative support to a large hospitality team within the lounge operation.
Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. What You'll Do
- assist with recruiting and onboarding frontline hires;
- be involved in employee relations/investigations;
- possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws;
- maintain active and terminated employee files;
- support the payroll function;
- assist with new hire orientations;
- manage the badging process;
- work to resolve and answer HR-related questions with support of PeopleCenter;
- understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;
- complete special projects based on business needs.

What You Bring
- fluent in MS Office, Outlook & Teams;
- have worked in an HR support capacity and have a desire to learn more;
- experience with employee relations/conducting workplace investigations/facilitating communication with employees and management;
- knowledge of frontline/hourly payroll systems;
- detail-oriented, flexible, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work with sensitive information;
- possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- committed to creating an open-door, employee-driven work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
