Sodexo is seeking a high energy General Manager to lead our child nutrition program with Deer Creek Public Schools, located in Edmond, OK. Deer Creek is a fast growing district and provides the opportunity to grow your career along with the district which will be opening a multiple new schools in the upcoming years.
This position will report directly to the District Manager and will oversee a team of approximately 50 employees. Day to day, this role will be responsible for serving the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program (NSLP and NSBP), and overseeing cafeteria operations at 10+ schools.

Our ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven client relations skills, a solid communicator and possess the ability to effectively lead a team to accomplish multiple priorities. Strong financial and analytical skills mandatory for this position. Experience managing a food service team in an education environment is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be well versed in Child Nutrition/K-12 food service operations, food and labor cost controls, while also having proven success in driving customer results. The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
- Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted adviser and member of the accounts leadership team
- Achieve continuous improvement in customer and client satisfaction scores
- Create an exceptional student experience through marketing, menu design, and excellent food quality
- Meeting (or exceeding) Sodexo standards of operations (Gold Check)

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's degree, with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
